Congratulations to UCOR’s 2025 summer interns, who finished their closeout presentations last week before an audience of fellow interns, mentors, and managers. Intern projects included rad surveys; safety basis document revisions; engineering design; waste characterization; ORNL Liquid Low-Level Waste evaporator system; phishing campaigns; data modeling for Performance Objectives, Measures, and Commitments; corporate accounting; internal audit; construction and heavy equipment; transportation; and waste shipments.
A total of 41 interns rounded out this year’s program, three of whom have joined UCOR’s workforce full-time this week.
