The ETTP Surveillance and Maintenance (S&M) team has earned a TeamsCount Award for clearing out decades of excess inventory from the K-1036 A-bay building.
UCOR previously struggled with unknown inventory in A-bay, leading to unnecessary new purchases. Tasked by the Heritage Center Enterprise APM, the S team, alongside Rachel Hadden, inventoried everything. Their innovative solution: the UCOR Furniture ReStore site on UCOR Hub.
Launched March 3, this site lets employees claim free furniture and materials for their office space. This initiative boosts sustainability, cuts costs, and reduces landfill waste. Plus, freeing K-1036 A-bay creates vital storage, potentially saving UCOR thousands in leased facility costs.
The team aims to repurpose items internally, then prepare A-bay for future storage.
Congratulations to Mark Bunch, JC Ettien, Rachel Hadden, Jeremiah Heidle, Jacob Henry, Matt Jones, Jay Moore, and Robert Silcox for their innovation and impact.
