Methodist Medical Center (MMC) kicked off its annual Holiday of Lights for Health yesterday. The annual holiday campaign raises money for the Hospitality Houses, which provide temporary lodging for patients and families who travel to Oak Ridge for extended medical treatment. By relieving the financial burden of hotel stays, the houses help guests focus on physical and emotional healing. UCOR is a long-time sponsor of the hospitality house initiative.
The houses primarily serve patients of Thompson Cancer Survival Center at Methodist, Thompson Oncology Group, and their caregivers. The houses have been used by patients and their families from 36 states.
This campaign is a unique opportunity to help MMC’s patients and their families when they need it most. Interested in supporting Holiday of Lights and the Hospitality Houses?
